VIVE Focus 3
Enterprise Standalone VR headset
Vive Focus 3 redefines enterprise VR with a standalone headset, delivering stunning high-resolution visuals and ergonomic comfort. It's a powerful blend of advanced technology and intuitive design, built to elevate business applications like training, simulations, and remote collaboration.
Our team focused on key insights and solved critical pain points in enterprise training, leading to the development of a new headset concept centered on comfort, quick throughput, and swappable battery solutions.
Some of these cradle features were then integrated into the VIVE Focus 3. By refining the cradle and introducing a swappable battery system with an external status indicator, we elevated user comfort and efficiency, transforming the enterprise training experience and pushing the product to new heights.
I led research into enterprise VR training to define core design strategies for All-in-One (AIO) solutions. Working closely with the Principal Researcher and CMF Lead, I collaborated with companies using VR in both low- and high-risk training contexts. The study uncovered key success factors, addressed user pain points, and established design criteria to improve training outcomes through hardware, ecosystem integration, and material innovation. Additionally, forward-thinking CMF proposals were developed to inform future enterprise product direction.
